How can CIOs leverage the influence gained during the pandemic?

In 2019, before the coro­n­avirus cri­sis trig­gered the accel­er­a­tion of dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion world­wide, Gart­ner pre­dict­ed that by 2021 “CIOs will be as respon­si­ble for cul­ture change as chief HR offi­cers”. Has this hap­pened? How has the shift to remote work­ing impact­ed how CIOs oper­ate and their remit? The num­bers show that demand for their exper­tise has grown, as has their respon­si­bil­i­ties with­in organ­i­sa­tions, but that lim­it­ed cross-team col­lab­o­ra­tion is decreas­ing agili­ty
