The growth of workplace monitoring

The coro­n­avirus pan­dem­ic has led to an increase in remote work­ing, which in turn has led more com­pa­nies to mon­i­tor their work­forces in an effort to increase pro­duc­tiv­i­ty and ensure staff are not shirk­ing. But data sug­gests work­ers are actu­al­ly work­ing more at home than in the office and that offer­ing more flex­i­bil­i­ty is more like­ly to lead to a boost in per­for­mance.
