When will you retire?

The state pen­sion age is ris­ing around the world as peo­ple live longer and birth rates decline. This means that the old mod­el of stat­ing work (or uni­ver­si­ty) at 18 and retir­ing between the ages of 60 and 65 in becom­ing increas­ing­ly uncom­mon, as is that of women get­ting to retire before men. But what does this mean for how long you might need to work before you can down tools for good — and is it affect­ing the incomes of those who’ve already retired?
